Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 15, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how Takeward ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares, and protects information from and about individuals ("you" or "your") who visit takeward.com ("Site") or subscribe to our services. By using the Site or subscribing to any plan, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly

When you subscribe, complete the onboarding questionnaire, or contact us, we may collect your full name, email address, billing address, payment information (processed and stored by Stripe — Takeward does not store credit card numbers or full payment credentials on its own servers), YouTube channel information (channel name, niche, and content preferences), and any other information you voluntarily submit through the onboarding form, the client portal, or email correspondence.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Site, we may automatically collect your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed on the Site, date and time of access, and device identifiers. This information is collected through cookies, log files, and similar technologies.

Information from third parties

We may receive billing and transaction data from Stripe, our payment processor, in connection with your subscription.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes: to process your subscription and payments; to deliver the services described in your plan; to communicate with you regarding your account, deliverables, and support requests; to send automated transactional emails related to billing, onboarding, and account status; to improve and optimize the Site and our services; to comply with legal obligations; to enforce our Terms of Service; and to detect, prevent, and address fraud or security issues.

We do not use your information to send unsolicited marketing emails unless you have opted in to receive them. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

3. Payment Processing

All payment transactions are processed by Stripe, Inc. Takeward does not directly collect, store, or have access to your full credit card number, debit card number, or bank account details. Stripe's collection and use of your payment information is governed by Stripe's own Privacy Policy, available at stripe.com/privacy. By subscribing, you agree to Stripe's terms and privacy practices with respect to payment processing.

4. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site may use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your browsing experience, analyze Site traffic, and understand usage patterns. Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your web browser.

You may disable cookies through your browser settings. However, disabling cookies may affect the functionality of certain features of the Site. We do not use cookies to collect personally identifiable information unless you have voluntarily provided it.

5. How We Share Your Information

Takeward does not sell your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances: with Stripe for payment processing; with service providers and contractors who assist in delivering our services (such as hosting providers, email services, and portal infrastructure), subject to confidentiality obligations; when required by law, subpoena, court order, or governmental request; to enforce our Terms of Service, protect our rights or property, or investigate potential violations; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of all or substantially all of our assets, in which case you will be notified via email or prominent notice on the Site.

6. Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as reasonably necessary to provide you with our services, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Upon account cancellation, we may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (such as record-keeping and fraud prevention) for a period not to exceed three (3) years from the date of cancellation, unless a longer retention period is required by applicable law.

7. Data Security

Takeward implements commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee its absolute security.

8. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information, including the right to access the personal information we hold about you; the right to request correction of inaccurate information; the right to request deletion of your personal information, subject to legal and contractual retention requirements; and the right to opt out of any marketing communications.

To exercise any of these rights, contact us at support@clients.takeward.com. We will respond to your request within thirty (30) days.

9. California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA). These include the right to know what personal information we collect and how it is used; the right to request deletion of your personal information; the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (Takeward does not sell personal information); and the right to non-discrimination for exercising your privacy rights.
